The Membership Committee focuses on providing the highest level of service and communication to our members, as well as offers guidance and support for community projects and event participation.

The Membership Committee has the following goals:

• To increase membership at all events
• To timely and accurately maintain website, LinkedIn and Facebook content
• To distribute the TXWA newsletter timely and accurately

Networking

The Networking Committee plans a variety of events to promote the development of industry relationships and offer opportunity for the growth and education among members and those within the wireless infrastructure community.

The Networking Committee has the following goals:

• Identify educational speakers and coordinate regular membership meetings and social events
• Organize Spring and Fall annual golf tournaments as well as the Holiday Party
• Support and promote the development of professional industry relationships

Philanthropy

The Philanthropy Committee strives to be a valuable philanthropic resource and seeks both to give members the opportunity to develop and implement philanthropic initiatives and to strengthen the TXWA tradition of community involvement.

The Philanthropy Committee has the following goals:

• To coordinate scholarship processes
• To coordinate charity processes
• To coordinate mentoring programs
• To coordinate community projects and involvement with carrier programs

Advocacy/Education

The mission of the Texas Wireless Association Advocacy Committee is to maintain an active ear in Washington D.C. and a voice in Austin regarding regulatory policies that may impact the Texas wireless industry, both politically and economically. The purpose is to inform our members of these issues and to educate them on how potential changes in legislation impact their operating environments.

The Advocacy Committee has the following goals:

• Maintain an ear in Washington D.C. regarding wireless legislation and keep our members aware of any Federal policy changes in a timely fashion
• Maintain an ear in Austin regarding wireless legislation and keep our members aware of any State policy changes in a timely fashion
• Maintain a hot topics list of current wireless industry regulatory issues

Safety

The mission of the Texas Wireless Association Safety Committee is to be an abundant resource for our membership that provides guidelines, best practices and information to prevent accidents and fatalities through training and education with the end goal being a safer, more efficient and profitable workforce.

The Safety Committee has the following goals:

• To create State wide Safety Task force to include all customer, supplier & vendor categories
• To provide safety update in TXWA newsletters and create a safety corner on website
• To maintain current links on TXWA website to relevant industry safety websites
• To provide verbal safety awareness update at one or more TXWA event(s) per year
• To strengthen relationships with safety related organizations such as OSHA, NATE & DOL
